Eliza just asked, "Mommy, can I have that beeeyoootiful dress?!" I told her that she probably wouldn't be getting any new dresses for a while because it was just Christmas and she got lots of new things. So she suggested, "How about for Hanukkah?" I explained that we don't celebrate Hanukkah because we're not Jewish and she said, "We could pretend..."
Practicing in the car the morning of her Christmas program. (Yes, Paul was videotaping her while driving.)
We got Daddy this awesome new skateboard. Unfortunately, Eliza told him all about it a few days BEFORE Christmas!
Willa loves her astronaut duck from Auntie Kyle and Uncle Jeffrey. He used to have a space helmet, but Willa really, really wanted to chew on his beak, especially now that she has two new chompers on top!
Eliza was a big hit at her first public performance today. It was Oglethorpe Presbyterian Preschool's annual Christmas program and the Goldfish class knocked "Jingle Bells" right out of the park! Willa stayed home with Anissa due to an unfortunate vomiting incident earlier this morning. We thought it best not to dampen the festive mood with a baby puking in the pews.
On the drive to school today, Eliza told Paul that red and blue make purple. He was very impressed with our brainiac child until this afternoon when she told him that pee and poop also make purple.
