We finally got a few days that were warm enough to break out the pools!

Day 2 of the water park extravaganza and E. is in the pool by 10 am! Great way to keep her busy while Mom and Dad work on the garden.
We've decided to expand our little herb and tomato garden of last summer to an ambitious veggie, herb and flower garden this year. We're doing three square foot grid raised garden beds. Eliza is already having a lot of fun with it. We often have "meetings" about what we're going to plant and where. She knows all about compost, peat moss and vermiculite and she thinks it's particularly hilarious that our garden will have cow and chicken "poop" mixed in the soil! We'll keep you posted on our progress.
We had a great Easter! Eliza and Willa woke up and searched for the eggs and baskets that the Easter Bunny brought for them. Later, we went to our neighbors' house for brunch and then played in the yard. It was a beautiful spring day, too!

Eliza has had two great potty training days in a row! Today, she pee-peed on the potty 4 times and had only one accident!!! Look at all the stars on her potty training chart! Look at all Mommy's exclamation points!!!!!Eliza directed a concert in her bedroom the other morning. She posted signs announcing the show all over the house. Daddy sang and she hummed in her rocking chair (a la Audrey Smith). Mommy and Willa, who were mere spectators, were quite entranced with the virtuoso performance.
