It all started out so innocently...

Mommy used the old "Tom Sawyer" trick to get the kids to wash the car. Of course, when you give hoses to a nine year old and a thirty-nine year old who acts like a nine year old, there's really only one way things are going to end...WATERFIGHT!!!!!

Nature girl

Audrey, Cole and Eliza hanging in the blacksmith's shop.

The Tullie Smith Farm. Unfortunately, the animals were all AWOL because of construction, but the kids still had fun.

Had to post this series of photos of Eliza looking uncharacteristically serene. Perhaps she belongs on a farm.

Willa enjoying a respite from the 95 degree weather and showing off her ever-growing stick collection.

This is what happens when Willa spots a camera.

Little Girls, Big Lungs

On the way home from the zoo. Who needs radio?!?

Zoo again!

Feeding parakeets!

Daddy, Eliza and Willa went back to the zoo to check out the new parakeet exhibit. (Mommy enjoyed a quiet morning of yoga...aaahh...bliss!) We met some silly new friends in a giant nest.

Garden Update

Harvest!

The fruits (and vegetables) of our labor

Serenbe Farms

Mmmmmm...cookies!

Farmers' Market

Last weekend we went to Serenbe Farms which is an awesome organic farm and community that's about 30 minutes south of Atlanta. We had a great time with our friends Sterling, Sosie, their mommy Melanie, and Kevin who actually lives not too far from Serenbe.

The best part was the in-the-ground trampoline!

Relaxing after a particularly sweaty trampoline session.

Centennial Olympic Park

Monday, August 3, 2009

We had an awesome time playing at the fountains at Centennial Olympic Park with Skylar, Zachary and their daddy Micah! Eliza made quite the fashion statement in her bikini and Hello Kitty rain boots.

Nowhere to run to, baby...nowhere to hide.

Zack, Eliza and Skylar

Chillaxin', as the Neal kids would say!

Rainy Day Fun

Sunday, August 2, 2009

Every day is a dance party at the Schoknecht house!

Have you hugged your chicken today?

Ice Pack

Willa wonders if the treatment for a fat lip might actually be worth the injury.

Hot Dog Squids...Yum!

We had so much fun making hot dog squids for lunch. Ours are tofu dogs with whole wheat pasta so as not to be too horribly unhealthy.

The finished product which the kids devoured! Mommy took a pass, though.

Willa got baby squids.

Soooo Glamorous!

Fancy Nancy ain't got nothin' on Eliza and Audrey!
