Bagels and Bloody Marys

Saturday, January 2, 2010

We had a really wonderful New Year's Day brunch at our house with lots of people we love. The grown ups had bloody marys, mimosas and other tasty breakfast vittles while the children trashed the playroom and ran wild with the camera. What a perfect way to start the new year!

Rocking in the New Year!

We had a really fun New Year's Eve. Kevin and Amy, Bryce and the kids came over for dinner along with Amy's friends Lexi and Nick and their 9 month old, Hunter. Amy's crab cakes were outstanding! After we filled our bellies and put the little ones to bed, the grown ups and Cole rang in the New Year playing hours of Wii Rock Band!

Sleepover Hangover

Eliza was so wiped out the afternoon after our sleepover with Kira and Aidan, she fell asleep in her chair. A nap for Eliza is a very rare thing indeed! Yes, that's Paul vacuuming while E snoozes.

We had a super fun sleepover with cousins Kira and Aidan complete with s'mores and chocolate chip pancakes! Eliza and Aidan both bedded down in a tent in Eliza's room and actually managed to get some sleep. It was a post-Christmas miracle!

Teenagers

Eliza and Audrey practicing with the play makeup Santa brought. They should be pretty good by the time they start sneaking makeup to school in their backpacks.
