Eliza Teaches Mommy Squirrel Anatomy

Wednesday, June 18, 2008

Eliza and I were sitting on the deck watching a squirrel today. Eliza said, "Look Mommy...he's digging!" I said, "Yep, looks like he's digging to China." Eliza giggled and said, "No Mommy! He doesn't have a 'gina...only GIRLS have 'ginas!"

The Littlest Mermaid

What Eliza lacks in tone, she more than makes up for in volume.

We Love Claire!

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

This is our nanny, Claire. She's the best! Here are Claire and Eliza making peanut butter and bird seed pine cones for the birdies in our backyard.

Life With Eliza

Miss Eliza has been extremely TWO lately, challenging Mommy and Daddy's energy and sanity on a daily basis, but occasionally she does something so sweet, my heart just melts. Just the other day, we were in the car doing a rare errand alone together while Willa was home with our nanny, Claire, when Eliza said to me, "Mommy, I love you SO much!" I said, "Eliza, I love YOU, so much!" And she said, "Mama, pull over." I asked her why she wanted me to pull the car over and she said, "So we can give each other kisses." So, of course, I pulled over into a parking lot and walked around to Eliza in the back seat. We gave each other kisses and then continued on our way. Bliss.

Cole's Birthday

Sunday, June 1, 2008

Our neighbor, Cole, had the puppet show part of his birthday party in our backyard. It was super fun! Good thing we haven't torn out that yucky old deck yet.

Thank you, Auntie Barb!

How cute am I in this new t-shirt from Auntie Barb?

Mud Bath

We took out the pool for the first time the other day and Audrey and Eliza decided to turn it into a bit of a spa treatment.

Grandpa's Mini Me

Eliza reading, shirtless, at the dinner table...a la Grandpa Paul!

Happy Girl!

Willa and her best buddy, Mr. Bee

When our babies are fussy, we try walking or bouncing on the yoga ball.

Goofy Girl

Eliza never met a headband she didn't like!

We Chill

Thursday, May 8, 2008

Mom and Dad seem to take a lot of pictures of
us in this position. Oh wait, Willa can't really do
much more than that right now.
I like to show Willa how to play with her toys.
